"A Garden of Friendship" was the theme at our annual Summer Celebration which was held on June 25 at the Win River Event Center.

Pictures of the event are in the Photo Album located on the left side of the website above the picture of our new president, Barbara Mayberry.

Activities continue throughout the summer.

Our next General Meeting will be September 23, 2015.

ONE CAN AT A TIME

Food Pantry Donations

Thank you all for supporting this wonderful program. Our food donations made a huge difference last year. Our donations from the May meeting were directed to the Salvation Army. In the hot summer and fall months ahead we know they will be called on to help with community emergencies. We also know that many children receive both breakfast and lunch at school and this is another area where the Salvation Army does help. We would like to continue with a helping hand for hungry children and families that need a bit of help from food pantries at the end of the month. In addition to canned goods and other food, personal care items are always helpful. Brown paper bags and plastic bags are also needed. Bring them in as well.   We plan to collect next at our September meeting.
